A little bit about our history
Bob McKee a co-founders of Coast Networx, Inc and the President. Bob has been working in the IT consulting industry for the last 16 years and has successfully implemented many Enterprise level solutions and migrations for large businesses. Bob is both a Certified Microsoft Systems Engineer, and Citrix administrator and expert in E-mail communication troubleshooting. Bob’s experience includes running his own small business while managing large and small business customers networks. Bob is dedicated for Coast Networx to be the premier Computer and Network support company on the Central Coast.
Aubrey “AJ” Whitten a principal owner of Coast Networx. With over 20 years of industry related experience, AJ is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. His strong knowledge of the computer service industry helps guide Coast Networx to be the premier network solution and service provider on the Central Coast of California. AJ Graduated from Allan Hancock College in 1989 with an Associated Science Degree. He began his career with Pacific Software Supply, the largest distributor of Atari Software and Hardware followed by employment at Computer Doctor, Inc. and Frontier Technology as Senior Engineer and Manager. He is a Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator, Microsoft Certified System Engineer, Novell Certified Administrator, and a Cisco Certified Network Administrator.
Our services have expanded over the years from workstation and server support and network cabling, to full network and business continuity and cloud services, to Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony and everything in between.

Coast Networx, Inc. is a premier provider of onsite and offsite (managed services) and network computer support services to home users and small and medium size businesses. Our main areas of support include: Santa Maria , Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, Buellton, Solvang and San Luis Obispo. In addition we are expanding into managed services to increase our technical leverage. Our Senior Network engineers have been trained and certified in the latest technologies to provide the best possible solutions to our clients. Our vision is to provide our customers one stop service for all their computer and network needs.
CNI’s goal is to continue with orderly growth of professional services by transitioning from home and small businesses to medium size businesses with specific focus on businesses located on the central coast from Santa Barbara to San Luis Obispo. By leveraging our technical expertise and the extended power of our hardware and service partners CNI effectively scales its services to support all elements of the business community needs for technical support. We were founded in January of 2004, we are a profitable and growing company. Our headquarters are located in Santa Maria, CA.
We made the decision and investments to move from a Break-fix model to a Proactive Approach of “Managed Services”. We felt this approach was far better to servicing our customers IT needs. 24×7 Monitoring of their entire network, automated patching of critical updates, full Backup Disaster Recovery (BDR) techniques, full Help Desk Services, Network Operation Centers (NOC) keeping an eye and fixing issues behind the scenes and an arsenal of Security tools to keep our customers running at peak performance while keeping them safe! We offer all this in packaged plans customized to our customer’s business networks.
